Glancing through some older photo files I came upon my Cuba images.
I have wonderful memories of this holiday, even though it has been 5 years since we were there.
As “Lonely Planet: puts it: For first-time travelers a visit can be a challenging and eye-opening experience. Defying standard classification, Cuba is a complex and idiosyncratic society with a thousand different layers. To explore it you’ll need at least two weeks; to dig deeper, a couple of months; to understand it – a lifetime. Go with an open mind and come back with a head full of unanswered questions. Never straightforward, but always fascinating, Cuba requires faith, hope, understanding, and an innate ability to branch out and discover things on your own.

Varadero

Varadero, no comparison with old Havana or Trinidad, but it was nice to rest our tired (but happy) feet in sand and waves as a perfect end of our holiday in Cuba.
