Girlfriends’ sight-seeing trip BC, Canada

September 2013 two girlfriends of mine from The Netherlands came over for a visit.
Of course we checked out all the beautiful areas in my own area, but we also travelled to Vancouver Island, always a favourite destination for me.
We travelled from Nanaimo to Duncan and from there via the Cowichan Valley Hwy to Lake Cowichan. From there via the Pacific Marine Road, which used to be a logging road but is now paved and easy to drive, to Port Renfrew. In Port Renfrew we had found an amazing place to stay, a whole little, very clean house, all for us: the Botanical Getaway Guesthouse. This is located just a couple of kilometres away from Botanical Beach.
From Port Renfrew we continued our journey, after walks to Botanical Beach and China Beach, via Sooke to Victoria.
Of course we also visited places on the mainland, like the Museum of Anthropology in Vancouver and Lynn Canyon near North Vancouver.
Please travel with us, through the lens of my camera.
