Summerland – Keremeos – Manning Provincial Park – Maple Ridge

The last day of our trip!
After yet another delicious breakfast (Thank you, Liz and Denis), we headed towards Keremeos and from there south to the Forbidden Fruit Winery. A visit to this winery was recommended by Denis. The only snag was, that the distance from the turnoff at Keremeos to the winery was not 8 km as Denis thought, but 26! But it was worth it, every single extra km!
The weather was fantastic, the scenery breathtaking, the winery had fantastic wine!
After this delightful side-trip we continued west towards home, which is Maple Ridge for us.  A few stops here and there, a short walk in Manning Park, the scenic way (#7 rather than Hwy 1) from Hope to Maple Ridge. Home again after driving 1914 km in one week (not too bad really, considering everything we have seen). Suitcases unpacked, washing machine filled, memories recaptured.
Another beautiful journey.

Ja, aantrekkelijke hapjes en Forbidden Fruit Wine, dat staat garant voor mooie foto’s en mogelijk dat niet alleen…
