The second day of our trip took us from Kamloops to Salmon Arm, where we stretched out legs by checking out one of the waterfront parks. We saw an amazing amount of feathered wildlife. We continued to Craigellachie, where the last spike completed the CP railroad from ocean to ocean in 1885. (Can you tell I am working for the publisher of the art of Max Jacquiard, the painter of steam trains?) We followed the road to Revelstoke, where a very nice B&B awaited us: “The Adventurer’s Guesthouse“. This B&B is located on the outskirts of Revelstoke. On the way downtown (for dinner) we enjoyed a beautiful view of the mountains. We had a sumptuous and fun dinner at the “Village Idiot Bar & Grill“.
