Glacier National Park and Mount Revelstoke National Park

Day 3 turned out to be a very good day, weather wise, so we headed for Glacier National Park. It was awesome. You feel so small surrounded by this majestic scenery.
We wandered around the monument and the memorial garden at Rogers Pass, and soaked in the sight of the surrounding snow capped mountains. Marmots were frolicking around.
We also hiked the Rockgarden Trail. Here the trail over the fallen rocks was better set out than the one at Joffre Lakes Provincial Park near Mount Currie. From here we went to Mount Revelstoke National Park. Unfortunately it was still too early in the season to be able to drive the whole “Meadows in the Sky Parkway“, but we could go until the 10 km mark, where indeed the road was still snow covered. But the view from there was breathtaking.
